Hey there! My name is Chelsea Musselman, and I’m the owner of Saltbox Shop, a new boutique in Schoolcraft, MI. I am wife to the most hardworking man that is never afraid of new projects. Together, we have three beautiful kids and three dogs.
I have been a hairsylist for almost 20 years and opened Salon Harlow in 2013. After a few years, an opportunity came along and we decided to completely renovate the old Ford garage for Harlow’s new home and a dream to one day open a boutique.
I love to spend time on the lake, listen to music, snack on chips + salsa, and enjoy a good glass of tequila… Also, I'm a firm believer that a new outfit can make your day a hundred times better.

About the shop
I launched the boutique with a passion to create a one of a kind shopping experience with trends from all over the US, bringing my cross country Arizona flare back home to Michigan. I had a strong desire to create a shop where women of all ages, shapes, sizes and budgets could find their dream outfit. Not just the perfect dress, but the shoes, earrings, and purses needed to make it the outfit of your dreams. I knew I wanted to bring the latest fashion trends to Southwest Michigan, because I believe that a woman's outfit strongly impacts how they feel. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and that is what I sought to create.
