Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving or picking up your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refund Options 
If you have purchased an item in-store that you are unsatisfied with, you must return your purchase in store. It can be refunded for store credit or to your original payment method. Once you've brought in your item you'd like to return and we’ve inspected your return, we will let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If you have ordered an item online, you may request an even exchange or return for store credit only by contacting us at the email address below. Customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs for returned items. Once your returned item has been received and we’ve inspected your return, we will let you know if the refund was approved or not.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


SHIPPING INFO


With shipping being a new service of the Saltbox Shop, we ask for some grace as we figure the ins and outs of how this all works! 

Your order will ship within 3-5 business days. Saturday–Monday orders will typically ship on Tuesday (can someone say party of one shipping department over here?!). Please note there may be shipping delays for popular styles while waiting for incoming shipments. 


Please keep in mind the following: 

  • Saltbox Shop is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
  • If your package arrives damaged, you must contact our Customer Care team within 24 hours of receiving your order. 
  • Please confirm your address and all information before submitting your order at checkout.
  • Certain customer commodities are considered hazardous materials, such as aerosols, nail polish, fragrances, and other alcohol-based products; our policy is to ship these items as standard shipping (ground only) to continental U.S. locations.

USPS Guarantees

  • We are not responsible if the package is not delivered in the guaranteed shipping times as it may take 1-3 business days to process the order, and we cannot be held liable for USPS guarantees. If the item is not delivered in time, please contact USPS (1-800-ASK-USPS). We will NOT refund additional shipping charges if USPS fails to meet their guaranteed shipping times.
